We are thrilled to announce the successful installation of a state-of-the-art ventilation system at our welding site in Ida-Viru County. This project, which required an investment of €94,000, was made possible through the generous support of the Just Transition Fund (EAS). Their contribution has been instrumental in helping us enhance our operations and align with our long-term sustainability goals.
We’ve decided to upgrade to a new ventilation system, the Plymovent Group’s SCS-Diluter model, because we are committed to constantly improving working conditions and safety at Freen plant. This state-of-the-art system operates quietly, keeping noise levels below 70 dB even at its highest setting, which helps maintain a comfortable and productive working environment. Most importantly, it’s highly effective at purifying the air, efficiently removing welding fumes and significantly cutting down on harmful emissions in our facility.
This upgrade is a key component of Freen’s broader strategy to reduce CO2 emissions and support renewable energy initiatives. By investing in advanced technology, we are safeguarding the health and well-being of our employees, and contributing to a cleaner, greener future at the same time.
Our partnership with EAS has been crucial in realizing this project. Their support through the Just Transition Fund has enabled us to take meaningful steps toward our environmental goals while also boosting our production capabilities. As we continue to expand our operations, we remain dedicated to innovation and sustainability, ensuring that our growth benefits both our team and the planet.
We look forward to the positive impact this new system will have on our operations and the environment. This is just one of many initiatives we are undertaking to lead the way in responsible and sustainable manufacturing.
